At BritIron Classics, a subsidiary of Italianiron.com, we continue to have a great deal fun working on the formidable Norton Manx and twin cylinder racers like the Norton Commando & Dominator which is where I initially "cut my teeth" participating in period racing such as BOTT. We are so honoured to share our enthusiasm and expertise with racers and passionate builders of these iconic British motorcycles worldwide! Through our affiliation with the race engineering experts at Molnar Manx in UK, we continue to offer the industry's highest quality complete engines, engine spares, bodywork and chassis racing components for these British machines. In addition to the newly manufactured Molnar Manx, Norton Commando, and other Norton twin cylinder motorcycles, we have been fortunate in finding "piles" of good used OEM Brit bike spares that we continue to have on offer such as the Norton 750 Commando engine head shown below after just returning from our vapor blaster. As we get numerous shipments of quality racing spare parts from the UK from Molnar Manx and TGA/Molnar Precision LTD, we have been given the approval to offer additional items from the inventory of spares on offer from Norvil Motorcycles in the UK. The benefit to our customers in the US and the Pacific Rim countries is that we can spare them the international shipping expenses from the UK by combining items for shipping from across the pond in the UK to our location here in the American Southwest. FedEx and other shipping companies continue to offer us significant discounts domestically and internationally due to our shipping volume and those significant discounts have been confirmed to continue for us to offer to our customers worldwide. It has been pleasantly surprising that even receiving items from the UK that we can post to these Pacific Rim countries, for example, more cost effectively that from the UK directly in most instances. Shown below is a single Norvil Norton seat with number boards made by Norvil UK for the Norton 750 & 850 Commandos that we have on offer. We will be using this solo race seat on our Norton 1000 cc Commando Dunstall racer that we will begin building shortly after we receive all of our custom parts. This Norvil Norton solo seat is noticeably sound structurally and very solid. Mounting hardware is built-in securely in order to make it easy to install.

At BritIron Classics, as we currently have on offer our copy of the front Norvil Norton half fairing where one is made for the street and the other version for the racetrack, we are now making a front mounting bracket kit available to our Brit bike customers. In addition to offering our Norvil Norton half fairing and corresponding windscreen, we can complete that offering as we can now provide the complete front mounting bracket kit for your Norton race or street bike application. Let us take the aggravation and time necessary to build your own bracket kit by using this purposely designed kit as was used when the half-fairing was made available for Norton race or street machines. This kit is manufactured in the UK by Norvil Motorcycles. We will be using one of these kits on our Norton 1000 cc Commando Dunstall build. In addition, I believe that we have some of the best windscreens in the business and our Norvil Norton windscreen is exceptional. They are not only strong but also very pliable. However, what sets them apart is that they are extremely easy to install unlike other manufacturers that I have used in the past here in the US where mounting of the windscreen is only possible with a heat gun.

There are numerous different aftermarket Head Steady and "Isolastic" rebuild kits available for the Norton Commando twin cylinder engine on offer but we have been very impressed with the items that are manufactured by Norvil Motorcycles in the UK. In addition, we have been most impressed with the stout design of the Norvil head steady and as a result, we mounted it to our Norton 920 cc Commando engine to the frame of my JPN racer with great satisfaction as illustrated in the photo shown below. Other bracket hardware on offer from Norvil Motorcycles in UK is their front and rear "Isolastic" Rebuild kits that maintain a significant level of quality when restoring your Pre Mark 3 Norton 750 & 850 Commandos for racing or for use on the street. These Rebuild kits were also used on our Norton 920 cc Commando and will be used as we restore our Dunstall Norton build and is displayed on our BritIron section of our Italianiron.com website. In addition to the quality of these items, we found the rebuild application process very easy to complete.

As mentioned previously, we have been enjoying our reemergence into the world of the mighty Norton Manx and Norton Commando & Dominator twin cylinder racers where many famous British racers had significant successes and race wins on the world's stage and at historically important races such as the IOM TT.
