In addition to our comprehensive, specialty portfolio of TT, Pantah, and F1 bodywork kits, we would also like to begin to highlight our full product portfolio in greater detail. As more customers purchase our complete bodywork kits, we felt that it was important to provide additional information on our TT seat bases that are available in 3 sizes. The most common item purchased is our Long seat base. However, when at the racetrack, comfort and proper fitment is critical to going fast and is the purpose of our providing more options.

As I am 6' 2" tall, I have had the most success using the Long +70 mm seat base comfortably. As shown below, the length of the seat base itself is not different only the depth of the seating area is different to accommodate the widest range of racers and street riders. Our seat base is manufactured with top quality fiberglass matting versus the more common and lesser quality chopped strand material. We do offer these same seats in carbon fiber for approximately 50% more. It remains our goal to support racers and restorers with the broadest lineup of top quality Ducati TT racer bodywork & chassis kits to assist our customers with creating their dream build!

At Italianiron Classics, we continue to support other model ranges of Ducati racers and street bikes from bevel drive singles and twins up through 1 liter Superbikes. Another niche that we have found is in serving Ducatisti's who embrace the belt driven modern CR & SL Supersports. We source and refurbish bodywork for the carbureted Supersports primarily through the injected Supersport model ranges. However, I do really like the look and the performance of the carbureted Supersports and find that as a dealer for SmartCarb flat-slide carbs that we have improved the performance of these machines dramatically with mounting a set of SC2's. I have written 13 blog posts on our experience using SmartCarbs on a broad range of Ducati engines.
