At  Italianiron & BritIron Classics, let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" is not just a slogan but a commitment, whether you are building a vintage TT or Pantah racer for competition, a Ducati F1 vintage street bike or restoring a Norton Commando or Manx racer. We offer a  comprehensive, specialty portfolio of Ducati TTPantah, F1, and Norton engine, chassis and bodywork kits to our customers worldwide. We passionately support the sport of motorcycle racing with our race-tested, quality spares. We completely understand our enthusiastic customers whose heart rates "rev", like ours do, when they hear a masterfully tuned race engine. Shown below is a video of a TT 2 racer that was recently built by master engine builder, Toine Biggelaar of Biggelaar Performance in Oisterwijk, The Netherlands. It is also very satisfying to see the performance enhancements of this engine while using our US made SmartCarb2 flat-slides and running through one of our 2:1 stainless steel race exhausts!

It is easy to be drawn to  Tony Rutter's Blue on Red liveried TT 1 racer with Ducati 750 cc engine based upon his history of racing successes and iconic design. There is also something very special about the performance of a Ducati 750 cc two valve, belt driven Desmo engine that pulls hard up and down through the rev range. As a result, we had to build one as shown below!! There is no question that these early Pantah derived engines were the predecessor to the modern Ducati Superbikes. Part of the appeal of our offerings is that you can find a good used Ducati 2 valve donor bike rather inexpensively and can build something very special with our quality race bits. Much of the donor bike can be used from suspension, wheels, to wiring loom and engine can usually be used in one of our chrome-moly TT frames. We offer a 25 mm tubed TT frame for engines from 750 cc down through 350 cc. We also offer other specialty racing spares from magnesium wheels to include billet aluminum yokes/triple clamps, brake kits, fuel tanks, and bodywork kits for your custom build. If you do not see what you need on our website, please email me at Italianiron7@gmail.com

Shown below is our TT 1 with Silver on Red livery using a larger modern Ducati Monster S2R DS engine fitted into our 28 mm tubed TT chrome-moly frame with aluminum shallow sump fuel tank and fiberglass bodywork kit. The excitement of racing for me is to witness the technological advances made by each team and manufacturer as they work tirelessly to find ever more performance and putting ever greater horsepower more effectively "to the ground". We will be mounting a race prepped Ducati 1100 cc engine into one of our chrome-moly frames as our next TT 1 project. When we weighed our previous TT 1 racer with S2R engine, as shown below, we discovered that we had shaved over 50 lbs or 23 kg off of the street variant Monster S2R using our race quality components. Achieving superior Power:Weight Ratios has always been a winning formula in racing and is historically what made the first TT 2 so successful when ridden by a skilled, world class racer such as Tony Rutter and tuned so brilliantly by a world class racing engineer such as Pat Slinn. Together they took on the world to win 4, Formula 2 World Championships and numerous other races throughout the globe.

Through our Britiron Classics division, we are having fun offering restoration and racing quality spares for Norton Commando, Norton Dominator, Norton AtlasMolnar Manx and other British racing marques such as the Vincent, G50 & 7R. In the case of the Molnar Manx, it is a custom, hand-built racer and is an absolute piece of art. Check out the Molnar Manx section of our website. As a result of Andy Molnar's acute attention to detail, his Manx has proven to be the state-of-the-art example of the best in classic single cylinder racers. The successes of the Molnar Manx has been proven time and again at the racetrack. Shown below is my Norton 850 Commando JPN with Norvil magnesium front fork sliders, AP Lockheed magnesium calipers, billet clip-on's, billet yokes/triple clamps and using our 920 cc cylinder barrel. Through our collaboration with Molnar Manx, our items are manufactured to exacting engineering tolerances with superior metals to enhance the performance, reliability, structural integrity and safety of your vintage British "Iron"

We also wish to announce that we will be temporarily closed due to our return trip to Scotland to carry on with the genealogy search into my father's Scottish heritage that he was so proud of. Therefore, we will be unable to ship items between 18 Sept through 4 Oct 22. After having spent the most formidable years of my youth growing up in Edinburgh, my natural kinship has been with Edinburgh. However, I am excited to discover that my father's family is predominately from Glasgow! Looking forward to learning all about the great city of Glasgow in addition to traveling through the surrounding county of Lanarkshire. Will also need to stop by Ducati Glasgow as they seem to have a brilliant operation. My maternal Scandinavian genealogy has been thoroughly researched and I can claim to be 50% Norwegian with heritage originating from Voss and Hemsedal. As my paternal genealogy is nearly 50% Scottish from Lanarkshire and Aberdeen, that still makes me a 100% Viking and a true barbarian!! Pride in ancestry and tradition!!

In addition to our product portfolio of specialty racing quality spares for  TT and other Ducati racers, we are also excited to support enthusiasts for Norton Manx and Norton Commando racers through Molnar Manx and BritIron Classics Norton. Check out our Norvil fairings & windscreen offerings. Please review the numerous newly manufactured TTDucati F1 and Norton Commando. British marques are listed on the Britiron or Manx section of the website. As a result of our offerings, it is our hope to help you to become immersed in the history, the passion and the early technology of these amazing machines. Let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" to keep the sport of Vintage Motorcycle Racing alive and well!!
