Italianiron & Britiron Classics Project Post#6, MV Agusta F4

At Italianiron/BritIron Classics, let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" is not just a slogan but a commitment, whether you are building a vintage Ducati TT racer for competition or a Ducati F1 vintage street bike or even a MV Agusta F4! In addition to our comprehensive portfolio of chrome-moly TT chassis kits and bodywork kits we are also highlighting our product portfolio in greater detail to include unique projects that we continue to uncover. Such is the case of another "Italian Stallion", an 05/06 MV Agusta F4 that could be a great build for the right enthusiast. Shown below is the MV Agusta F4 project in bits that can be purchased as a project for a "package price" or sold separately as the bits will be listed separately. Contact me at Italianiron7@gmail.com so that I can answer any questions with regard to this offering.

The heart of any project is the engine and in this case we have a previously running MV Augusta F4 1000 cc engine (around 9k miles on the clock according to our customer) that he bought for the head and the clutch. This is a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 998cc, in-line four cylinder engine that maintains a six-speed manual transmission. There are a number of other hard to source bits available with this low mileage engine to include the starter motor, alternator, pistons, barrel, and bottom end with transmission gears. It is my preference to keep the engine together but will part out if necessary. We also have the injectors and OEM air box that is available as well.

Also available for purchase is this MV Agusta F4 Brutale frame. The VIN number is: ZCGAJFJN06V100940 and this frame will be sold with a bill of sale. There is no obvious external damage to this F4 frame and it appears straight. There are no other imperfections than normal wear. To be sure, MV Agusta F4 motorcycles are exquisite in their design and world renown for their performance. Their four cylinder engines are manufactured to fit neatly into this chrome-moly steel tubular trellis frame as a stressed member and with their aluminium swingarm as shown below and offered separately. Steering head also appears to be in good working order. However, there are no yokes/triple clamps in this particular project offering.

Shown below for purchase is another key component of this F4 project in the form of a MV Agusta OEM Brutale aluminum swingarm with rear shock and linkage. What is offered is what is shown in the photo. However, do know that there is no eccentric in this particular MV Agusta Brutale swingarm. There also appears to be no road rash and any imperfections come from normal wear and usage. The intent of this offering is to provide to that builder core components to build a unique MV Agusta track "weapon" or conversely to offer individual spare parts to those owners of these historic motorcycles to keep their machines on the road.
