Italianiron & Britiron Classics Team Gear, #2 Updates
Posted by Scot Wilson on Oct 15th 2022
At Italianiron/BritIron Classics, let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" is not just a slogan but a commitment, whether you are racing a vintage Ducati 750 Desmo racer, building a Ducati TT racer for competition or a Ducati F1 vintage street bike or even racing a Ducati 748 rs. We also offer a significant portfolio of racing spares for the Molnar Manx Norton and Norton Commandos. Additionally, we have also been having fun making our team gear available to our customers worldwide. Thank you to all who have asked to purchase our t-shirts, polo's and hats. Just returning from a wonderful trip to Scotland, and as a result, we are buried with back orders. Therefore, I thought that I would discuss updating some new images for our team t-shirts. For example, we removed the background on the photo of my Ducati 900 ss MHR #14 bike and had our vendor using inkjet technology print the image on to one of our t-shirts and it now is available. Please check out our other team gear options.

We also want to mention that we can now offer any of our team logo images on darker colored t-shirts as well. As I understand the technology, a white background is heated on to the shirt and then the particular image chosen is printed on to that background. Like the navy blue t-shirts featured in the previous blog post that we made for my buddy Tom, owner of Tom's Italian Tune & Service, we took a black t-shirt and printed a Ducati 900 GTS on that t-shirt for a customer and it turned out brilliantly in our opinion. It is our goal to always offer options to our customers even with our team gear. Therefore, in addition to a full range of sizes to include XXL, we can now have any of our images or yours printed on to either a light or a dark t-shirt with positive results. Do know that for those who need larger sizes than XL, there is a small surcharge. Contact me at Italianiron7@gmail.com for particulars. We are also working with the t-shirt vendor where you can place an order in the not too distant future and they will make it and send it directly to you. This will ensure that you are able to have a t-shirt that is custom made for you.

We appreciate the images that we have received from our different customers throughout the world as we continue to "build-out" a collection of images of the numerous different models of Ducati and Norton racers and street bikes. We actually do not make any money on our t-shirt offerings and offer our team gear just for fun. Some of the images of our Ducati's and Norton's are racers and street bikes that our team of specialists have either built or helped a customer build with some of our race quality spares. However, we focus passionately on supporting the sport of motorcycle racing with our race-tested, quality spares. Shown below is one of our new team t-shirts with the image of our Ducati Pantah 650 racer that we built as we continue to be massive fans of the Ducati Pantah belt driven engine.

Whereas we do not make either team gear for Molnar Manx or TGA/Molnar Precision LTD, as dealers, we are able to offer their team race items to include Richard Molnar's #25 Team Racing specialty gear for sale. We do celebrate the Manx Norton here at our Britiron Classics operation, a subsidiary of Italianiron.com. The Norton Manx began at the "very dawn of motorcycle racing and the Norton single is without doubt, the greatest of all of the "over-the-counter" production racers according to author Mick Walker in his book on the Manx Norton and many other enthusiasts worldwide. Mick adds, "Not only that, but in works guise these "cammy" Norton's dominated road racing at the Grand Prix level". This history continued against significant competition from manufacturers throughout the globe fielding multi-cylinder racers well into the 1960's. Team Molnar Manx continues that heritage today in achieving significant successes in racing their Manx's in vintage motorcycle classes. Share in the history by wearing their team gear!
