At Italianiron & BritIron Classics, let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" is not just a slogan but a commitment, whether you are building a vintage Ducati TT or Pantah racer for competition, a Ducati F1 vintage street bike or restoring a Norton Commando or Manx racer. We continue to offer a comprehensive, specialty portfolio of Ducati TT, Pantah, F1 as well as Molnar Manx and Norton Commando engine, chassis and bodywork kits to all of our customers worldwide. We continue to help restorers and racers with providing them with top quality racing spares and offering painting services when required due to our restoration expertise and build results. We have also had a great deal of success as dealers for Marvic magnesium wheels and AVON tires that we have provided to our racing customers. With GoodYear buying-out AVON-UK we had the AVON factory make a large production run of our most successful race tires and we will continue to offer them worldwide as long as our large inventory lasts. However, as a US dealer for Molnar Manx and TGA, US customers will be able to take advantage of our discounted shipping rates on our race tires to the US due to our shipping volume. This will make importing our inventory of AVON race tires from the UK to the US very cost effective for the racing community here. This is one of the exciting aspects of being involved in the world of vintage Italian & British racing motorcycles that we can be of service with a cross section of race quality products and services such as our AVON AM22 (110/80VB18) 11382 front race tire as shown below.

Our AVON AM22(110/80VB18) 11382 front race tire is shown above and we consider it to be the ultimate classic racing front tire. It is standard equipment on all Manx, G50, 7R, Seeley and vintage Ducati race bikes using 18" wheels. Molnar Manx use the AVON AM22 on their 350cc and 500cc Manx's as well as Seeley G50's with hundreds of races won. It is a brilliant all weather tire as well. We recommend this AM22 front tire (11382) for all mid-to-front pack racers. This soft compound is ideal from 32 degrees F (0 degrees celsius) up to 77 degrees F (25 degrees celsius) ambient air temperature and is best for high torque and heavier racers. This tire warms up very quickly and will allow you to get on the throttle from the first lap with loads of feel. We currently maintain our large inventory of AVON race tires on the shelves in dark, temperature controlled facilities in the UK before shipping those tires with our other orders to our company location in Tucson, Arizona in the American Southwest. We can offer a discount for orders of multiple tires. Contact us at Italianiron7@gmail.com for details and with your questions. To compliment your AVON AM22 front tire, we recommend the AVON AM23 (130/170-18) Rear Tire as shown below.

We believe that the AVON AM23 (130/170-18) as shown above is the best rear tire for Junior and Senior Production racers, and other Post Classic Superbike series machines using 18" wheels. In our opinion, this tire is far superior to the other competitor's products for short club races without tire warmers. There is quite a bit of confusion over the difference between the AVON AM23 (130/170-18) tire and the AVON AM23 130/650 'cantilever' version. The basic AVON AM23 (130/170-18) tire is IDENTICAL to the AVON AM23 130/650-18 as the "cantilever" tire is also a 70% aspect tire) and the rolling diameter of the 130/70 & 130/650 are identical. The difference is entirely down to very slightly different bead infillers put in the moulds at the Melksham factory. Use the 130/70 tire for rim widths of 2.75" - 3.75"and use the 130/650 "cantilever" version for rim widths of 2.15" to 2.75".The AVON AM23 is available in two compounds to suit any condition with either a Soft or Medium compound. Deep cutting allows for good block movement to reduce the amount of time to get the tire up to its optimum temperature and also to cut through water. Should it be raining, this is a great tire for all weather conditions. Our AVON AM23 "Cantilever" tire also comes in a Soft A24 or Medium A308 compound.

We are also having great fun working on Norton Manx and Norton twin cylinder racers which is where I initially "cut my teeth" participating in period racing such as BOTT. In addition to our product portfolio for Ducati TT and other Ducati racers, we are also excited to support enthusiasts for Norton Manx and Norton Commando racers through Molnar Manx and BritIron Classics Norton. Check out our Norvil fairings & windscreen offerings. Please review the numerous newly manufactured TT, Ducati F1 and Norton Commando items such as our aluminum fuel tanks, for example, and listed on my Italianiron.com website. British marques are listed on the BritIron or Molnar Manx section of the website. As a result of our offerings, it is our hope to help you to become immersed in the history, the passion and the early racing technology of these amazing machines. Let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" to keep the sport of Vintage Motorcycle Racing alive and well!!
