At Italianiron & BritIron Classics, let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" is not just a slogan but a commitment, whether you are building a vintage Ducati TT or Pantah racer for competition, a Ducati F1 vintage street bike or restoring a Norton Commando or Manx racer. We continue to offer a comprehensive, specialty portfolio of Ducati TT, Pantah, F1 as well as Molnar Manx and Norton Commando engine, chassis and bodywork kits to all of our customers worldwide. We continue to help racers and restorers with providing them with top quality racing spares and offering painting services when required due to our restoration expertise and build results. At Italianiron.com we are internationally well known for offering race quality spares for our vintage Ducati TT, F1, and Pantah racers. In addition to being dealers for SmartCarb performance flat slide carbs, we have also had a lot of fun working with racers and builders on our newly manufactured Marvic magnesium wheels and other specialty race quality bits. Please also take note that both TGA/Molnar Precision LTD, Italian Iron Classics, LLC, and BritIron Classics have found it necessary to require bank transfer wires on our Avon Race Tires and some of our high-end products like our Marvic wheels and our specialty manufactured frames and engine components due to changes in international banking procedures. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at Italianiron7@gmail.com.

We are extremely excited to offer our "new and improved" 280 mm Stainless Steel 2Cr13 "Floating" Disc Brake Rotor to bolt on to your OEM Ducati wheels or our Marvic magnesium wheels as shown above. Now all components have been designed in-house on our CAD system. No more rotors from China. Our new 280 mm brake rotor is assembled on 6082T6 aluminum alloy gold anodized centers to match OEM Ducati wheels and they will also suit all of our Marvic magnesium wheel offerings! Stainless location buttons, stainless 'anti-rattle' crinkle washers & stainless circlips to avoid rust stains make this design a first class, quality job and unrivaled anywhere else!! We have found that in theory, the required offset should be 28mm but we have found so much variation in original setups that we have manufactured our floating 280 mm Brake Rotor with a 27mm offset and we will supply it with a 1mm shim to allow for perfect centering. Additional shims are available if you need more! (but uncommon). As standard, the traditional Ducati Pantah uses 2 x 260 mm Brake Discs at the front, and with a single 260 mm disc at the rear. As such, we believe that our 280 mm brake discs for the front brake set-up are a useful upgrade for Ducati Pantah's with no further or minimal modification required to your racer or street machine. Our 280mm disc can also be fitted to the rear wheel. However we also manufacture and offer a 220mm Rear Brake Disc if required as it is much lighter set-up as it is designed for racing!

We are a bit baffled at the success that we are having in the sales of our Avon 18" Racing Tires as they comprise an order of the last 4,000 tires that the Avon factory produced for us before the factory closed. We do believe that the front Avon AM22 tire and the rear AM23 represent the best race tires for vintage racing motorcycles available. As a result, we have been struggling to keep up with all of the purchases by customers. We seemed to sell out of stock almost as quickly as they would arrive from our storage facility in the UK. We will be doubling our efforts in 2025 to maintain a significantly larger stock of our Avon race tires from the UK before the race season begins. We also remain surprised that the Avon AM23/650 "cantilever" version of the rear race tire is so often purchased despite our finding that the basic AM23/70 rear tire is IDENTICAL to the AM23/650 rear tire (the "cantilever" tire is also a 70% aspect tire). Even the rolling diameter of the /650 & /70 are identical. Our order with Avon was primarily for AM23/70 due to our significant successes with this rear tire at the track and as a result, it is less expensive than the comparable AM23/650 Cantilever tire. However, your choice! We have also been defrauded on some of our Avon tire sales which prompted the change in the required payment method of our requiring bank wires. Who would have thought that there would be a "black market" in vintage Avon race tires!!

We continue to receive orders for our newly manufactured Norton Commando Heavy Duty Engine Cases, Barrels, Engine Cranks and Commando Heads by TGA/Molnar Precision, LTD. They are truly "works of art" in addition to being dramatic improvements in structural integrity, metallurgy, and engineering refinements made following the original Norton factory blue prints. As it relates to the HD Norton Commando engine cases shown below, we started with a set of MK2 850 Commando crankcases. Then we created our own patterns to sand cast these cases but strengthened them in the areas where they were prone to breaking, particularly at the top side of the timing case cavity and the upper areas of the drive side. Our HD Commando engine cases are cast in fully heat treated LM25TF. Then they are machined on one of our state-of-the-art 5 axis machines to give a product of a quality that has not previously been available. As standard, we make the HD Commando engine cases to 750/850 specifications. However, we also produce our 1,000 cc cases where the bores and main bearings have been moved further apart to accommodate the bigger bores. All variants can be supplied to " Road" spec which allows the fitting of the standard alloy chain case, or to "Race" spec where the drive side outer is left with 12mm more material on it for maximum strength. Please note that a dry clutch or belt drive primary & an outer cover is the only means of making this application work for the larger capacity engines. Follow us as we start a Dunstall Norton build using all of the components of our Norton Commando 1000cc engine!

At BritIron Classics, we continue to be the preeminent source for aluminum fuel tanks for the Norton Manx, Norton Commando and Seeley MK2 & MK3 racers and street machines. All of our aluminum fuel tanks are manufactured in the UK by hand using an English Wheel, gas welded and annealed all over to prevent cracking! In addition to our Seeley MK 3 fuel tank that we designed to fit a Norton Commando frame, we wish to introduce our Norton Manx styled 5 gallon fuel tank that will also fit the Norton Commando frame. We continue to manufacture and to offer our Norton Manx fuel tank to fit the Wideline frames. Our new Norton Manx fuel tank as shown below was designed and manufactured for the Norton Commando frame. It is supplied with two 1/4 BSP fuel tap bosses & 2" Monza flip cap and is available with or without indents for clip-on handlebars. Unlike other sources, you can purchase one of our aluminum fuel tanks with confidence as they are guaranteed to fit your Norton Manx or Norton Commando racers and street machines. In addition to these new additions, we continue to offer aluminum fuel tanks for the Norton Commando Roadster, Interstate, Sprint, Fastback, mini-Manx and the Norvil fuel tanks as used on my Norton Commando 920 cc JPN build.

We are also having great fun working on Norton Manx and Norton Commando & Dominator twin cylinder racers which is where I initially "cut my teeth" participating in period racing such as BOTT. In addition to our product portfolio for Ducati TT and other Ducati racers, we are also excited to support enthusiasts for Norton Manx and Norton Twin racers through Molnar Manx and BritIron Classics. Check out our Norvil fairings & windscreen offerings. Please review the numerous newly manufactured TT, Ducati F1 and Norton Commando items such as our aluminum fuel tanks, for example, and listed on my Italianiron.com website. British marques are listed on the BritIron or Molnar Manx section of the website. As a result of our offerings, it is our hope to help you to become immersed in the history, the passion and the early racing technology of these amazing machines. Let us "Fuel Your Race Passions" to keep the sport of Vintage Motorcycle Racing alive and well!
