Up for auction is a Clutch Cover from my 1973 Ducati Round Case Desmo Bevel Drive racebike as shown here in the gallery of photos. This item is available because I purchased a dry clutch for my racebike and am getting back to working on some of my own projects again. I have been reminded by an international Ducati authority that the Green Frame 750 ss had the 9 supporting ribs around the bearing. However, this clutch cover will work on other Round Case Ducati engines such as the Sports and GT's. In the spirit of full disclosure, I did have the covers power-coated black in the early 2000's due to the durability of powder in the event of a tip-over. As I did not experience an "off" on the clutch side of the bike at the track, that theory has never been tested on that item. Suffice it to say but the powder from the early 2000's was not as thick as today's powder and as such, was not as difficult to remove. It took only solvent and a light particle blast. That is also why the bearing, spacer, and circlip are out of the cover as I had the cover polished and picked up today.
Ducati 750 bits have been becoming quite rare for quite some time now. Take this opportunity to have that rare spare or a nice original item to complete that concourse restoration.
