For purchase is our Aluminum Norvil Fuel Tank for the Norton 850 & 750 Commando but will also fit Triton`s and Cafe Racers using Commando chassis. This fuel tank is a faithful copy of the Norvil Production racer tank and modified to suit the Commando frame. It is manufactured by hand on an English Wheel, Gas welded and annealed all over to prevent cracking. Due to consumer demand, we now offer two sizes of fuel tanks, "Long" and "Short"
The "Long" Norvil fuel tank sits around 20mm over the seat subframe and is being made available for racers who need greater fuel capacity. The "Short" Norvil fuel tank is fit the Commando frame and stock seat. This fuel tank fits just in front of the seat subframe and is the preferred option for the street rider. Mounting is accomplished by 2 x M8 threaded inserts at the front of the tank that line up with the frame bracket and there are two "buttons" at the rear of the frame for a rubber strap. We include two 1/4" BSP fuel tap bosses & either a 2" or 2.5" monza flip cap. Please advise when you place an order.
